Are you interested in volunteering to help and support Foundation 92 from time to time? Volunteering is a critical element and a great asset of all that Foundation 92 is and does.

The involvement of volunteers is complementing and supplementing the work of our staff to achieve the vision and mission of the Foundation. The work that Foundation 92 does, would not be possible without your generous support. 

To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of our founders, The class of 92, The Foundation aims to facilitate 92 hours of volunteering with each partner across Salford and Greater Manchester, supporting the local community. 

We have different areas in which volunteers are welcome. 

Community Sport Coach Volunteer – Volunteers will assist Foundation 92 delivering multi-sport sessions with young people. Working alongside Foundation 92 sports coaches to both mentor and coach young people giving a positive experience. For more details, please refer to the role description at the bottom of this page.

Inclusion Sports Coach Volunteer – Volunteers will work with Foundation 92 inclusion coordinator on delivery of sports sessions with Jewish community partner, School and related organisations. For more details, please refer to the role description at the bottom of this page.

Health and Wellbeing Volunteer – Volunteers will support our Health and Wellbeing Team to deliver Health and Wellbeing programmes to our service users. For more details, please refer to the role description at the bottom of this page.

Volunteer Counsellor – Volunteer will help our community mentor to take calls and speak face to face to young people going through emotional issues. For more details, please refer to the role description at the bottom of this page.

Volunteer Tutor (Online) – Volunteer tutors will assist our team to deliver tuition sessions for young people in KS2 and KS3 with their maths homework or classes.  This person must be patient and understanding various problem-solving techniques would be advantageous. For more details, please refer to the role description at the bottom of this page.

Volunteer Mentor  Volunteer mentor who work with our team to inspire young people with goal setting skills and their aspirations. The volunteer mentor will receive consistent and regular training to improve their skillset.  For more details, please refer to the role description at the bottom of this page.

Content Creator Volunteer – Volunteers will support the Foundation 92 media team to create content of programmes that will include photography and filming. For more details, please refer to the role description at the bottom of this page.

Volunteer Promoter – Volunteers will support the Foundation 92 media team in promoting our programmes across the community through local community visits, visits into schools and more. For more details, please refer to the role description at the bottom of this page.

Events and Activities Volunteer – Volunteers will help Foundation 92 organising events and activities throughout the year. Guests to these events hugely benefit from and value their interactions with volunteers. Volunteers serve as the ‘friendly face’ of Foundation 92: Engaging visitors, organising events and helping where needed.
