Kelloggs Football Camps delivered by Foundation 92 return this summer

The official charity of Salford City FC are hosting free summer camps as part of the Kellogg’s Football Camps scheme. This scheme, now in its third year, offers more than 39,000 spots at 73 football clubs across the UK.

The programme is designed to help families who might struggle with childcare and the cost of summer activities.

Camps begin on Monday 27 July and will run throughout the summer (Monday-Thursday’s) at Albert Park in Salford

Dean O’Brien UK General Manager, Kellogg’s said:

“We’re proud to bring Kellogg’s Football Camps back for a third year, helping parents during the school holidays and giving children the chance to stay active. Our goal is to make camps more accessible, especially for families who might otherwise miss out. Working closely with club charities across the country helps us ensure the camps are open to everyone, inclusive and able to deliver real impact.”

The camps have been run in partnership with the English Football League (EFL), they offer a supportive environment for boys and girls aged 8 to 18 to get active, learn new skills, and make friends.

Parents simply need to purchase a participating box of Kellogg’s cereal from the 15th of June and scan the QR code on the packaging to sign up at www.kelloggsfc.com

The return of the programme comes amid growing pressure on families during the summer months. Last year, the camps delivered more than 16,000 hours of coaching, equivalent to more than 650 full days.

Each session is led by FA-qualified coaches and designed to be inclusive and supportive.

Debbie Cook, director of community at the EFL, said:

“Supporting communities is fundamental to the EFL’s purpose. Our clubs are deeply rooted in their towns and cities, serving as trusted local institutions that bring people together and create opportunities far beyond the pitch. Our partnership with Kellogg’s helps us extend that impact even further, once again giving thousands of young people the chance to stay active and grow in confidence. These camps don’t just keep children entertained – they bring communities together, offer vital support to families during the busy school holidays, and showcase the important role clubs play.”
