Foundation 92 Launches New Premier League Kicks Session at Salford Youth Zone

Foundation 92 is proud to announce the launch of a brand-new Premier League Kicks session in partnership with Salford Youth Zone, starting on Friday 12 September.

The free weekly sessions will run every Friday from 6–8pm and are open to young people aged 13 and above. Delivered by two Foundation 92 community coaches alongside members of Salford Youth Zone staff.

The initiative is part of the Premier League Kicks programme, which uses the power of football and sport to inspire young people, build stronger communities, and create safe spaces for personal growth. Sessions at Salford Youth Zone will provide opportunities for young people to develop their skills, build friendships, and stay active, while also having access to wider support and opportunities through both Foundation 92 and Salford Youth Zone.

All sessions are available to access for members of Salford Youth Zone! Membership is completely free and can be completed online at: https://salfordyouthzone.org/membership/

Ricardo Silva, Head of Youth Programmes at Foundation 92, said:

“We are thrilled to be working with Salford Youth Zone to deliver Premier League Kicks every Friday night. This new partnership allows us to reach even more young people across the city, providing not only a safe space to play football but also a chance to grow in confidence, learn new skills, and feel supported both on and off the pitch.”

Osian Lyimo, Sports Coordinator at Salford Youth Zone, added:

“I’m absolutely over the moon to have Foundation 92 delivering with us weekly. It bolsters our offer to our young people massively and shows our strength as a community to have us come together like this. Hopefully we can continue to see young people in the community continue to develop both on and off the pitch. F92 bring a wide range of opportunity with them, and I cannot wait to get started.”

The first session kicks off at Salford Youth Zone on Friday 12 September, 6–8pm, with sessions running weekly.
