Foundation 92 would like to extend a huge thank you to JMW Solicitors for their support as headline sponsors of the 2026 Corporate Cup at the Peninsula Stadium, home of Salford City FC.
The tournament brought together businesses, partners and supporters from across the North West for a fantastic day of football, networking and fundraising, all in support of Foundation 92’s work across sport, education, health and wellbeing, and community engagement programmes.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, participants and supporters, the event raised an incredible £5,200, helping Foundation 92 continue to create opportunities and positive outcomes for young people and communities across Salford and beyond.
As event sponsors, JMW Solicitors played a key role in helping make the day such a success. Their commitment to supporting local communities and charitable initiatives aligns closely with Foundation 92’s mission of using the power of sport and education to inspire positive change.
Chris Sutton, Managing Partner at JMW Solicitors, said:
“We were delighted to sponsor and support the Foundation 92 Corporate Cup and be part of raising such a vital sum of money for a great local cause. I was especially pleased to see our JMW Aspire Committee get involved, particularly Matthew Skeoch and Harry Lotus, who worked tirelessly alongside Foundation 92 to help create an excellent event. It was fantastic to see the tournament prove such a success.”
The fundraising efforts were further enhanced by a charity raffle, with a fantastic selection of prizes generously donated by Foundation 92 partners and supporters.
Foundation 92 would like to thank JMW Solicitors for donating a luxury Harvey Nichols hamper, while Stockport Golf Club provided a four-ball golf voucher and Classic Football Shirts donated a retail voucher. Arc Inspirations contributed karaoke and shuffleboard experiences complete with drinks vouchers, while Rainsough Garage donated a small car service worth up to £200.
Additional prizes included hospitality for two at a Salford City pre-season fixture, donated by Salford City Football Club, two tickets to a day’s play at Emirates Old Trafford courtesy of Lancashire Cricket Foundation, a three-course lunch or dinner for two at Café Football donated by Hotel Football, and afternoon tea for two at The Tender restaurant courtesy of Hotel Stock Exchange.
Their generosity helped create an exciting fundraising element to the event while contributing directly to the overall total raised.
Foundation 92 would like to thank JMW Solicitors, all participating teams, raffle prize donors and supporters for helping make the event such a memorable occasion.
