Salford City FC Players Inspire Pupils at Lark Hill Community School During EFL Week of Action

As part of the EFL Week of Action, Foundation 92 was delighted to support a special visit from Salford City FC players Ade Oluwo and Kallum Cesay to Lark Hill Community School.

Ade and Kallum joined a group of enthusiastic Year 5 pupils for an engaging Q&A session, where they answered a wide range of questions about their journeys in football, their daily routines as professional players, and the importance of teamwork, resilience, and dedication both on and off the pitch.

Following the classroom session, the players headed outdoors to watch the pupils in action during their PE football lesson. The youngsters were thrilled to showcase their skills in front of two first-team professionals and received plenty of encouragement and advice along the way.

To make the day even more memorable, Ade and Kallum surprised the pupils by handing out tickets to Salford City FC’s upcoming match, giving many of them their first opportunity to experience a live football game at the Peninsula Stadium.

The visit formed part of the EFL Week of Action, which highlights the positive impact that football clubs and community organisations like Foundation 92 have across the country. By connecting professional players with young people, the initiative aims to inspire ambition, promote healthy lifestyles, and strengthen community pride.

Foundation 92 would like to thank Ade Oluwo, Kallum Cesay, and Lark Hill Community School for taking part in this fantastic session, showcasing how football can be a powerful force for good in the community.
