Foundation 92, will be hosting free holiday activity camps over the summer holidays, aimed at children across Greater Manchester, who receive free school meals.

The activities funded by The Department of Education’s Holiday Activity Fund range from arts and crafts to sports and music and will run at various locations across Greater Manchester from Monday 22^nd of July until Thursday 29^th of August.

Part of a national campaign, this scheme is aimed to keep young people in safe, fun and interactive environments during the holiday period. Young people will receive a free healthy meal each day supporting their growth and development.  

Across the summer, Foundation 92 with thanks and support of Trafford Council, Manchester City Council, and Manchester Active, aim to provide 3,520 free places during the course of the week.

Head of Foundation 92, Tom Hutton said: “We are delighted once again be able to provide the children of Greater Manchester access to this great programme. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet new friends, spend time outdoors and have a great time in a constructive manner. 

“Families don’t always have access to disposable income to allow their children to attend holiday camps as they are usually expensive. All of our activities in this programme are completely free and I’d like to thank all our incredible partners for coming together and making this happen for young people across the region this winter.” 

The Summer Holiday Activity Camps are open for 8–16-year-olds and will run from Monday 22^nd of July until Thursday 29^th of August.

Aquarius Centre, Hulme – 6th August – 31^st August, (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday, 4pm until 8pm).

Sale High School, Trafford – 22^nd July – 15^th August, (Monday to Thursday, 10am until 2pm).

Partington Cross Lane, Trafford – 5^th August – 29^th August (Monday and Wednesday, 3pm until 7pm).

Partington Oak Road, Trafford – 5^th August – 29^th August (Tuesday and Thursday, 3pm until 7pm).

Sutton Community Centre, Salford – 22nd July – 15th August (Mondays and Thursdays, 2pm until 4pm).
