Foundation 92 would like to thank BM Stores and Bupa UK Foundation for donating and supporting the purchase of over 1,700 presents enabling Foundation 92 to enhance its support for the community, making sure more people across Greater Manchester can have a happy and positive time this Christmas.

On Monday the 19th of December, Salford City FC first team players supported the campaign by visiting Salford Royal Hospital and NorthCare Charity to see patients and spread Christmas cheer. Foundation 92 Co-Founder, Nicky Butt then joined the Foundation 92 team and partners in the Gorton area of Salford to distribute presents to members of the community including many Clarion residents.

Throughout the rest of the week, Foundation 92 staff visited all of its Holiday Activity Camps to hand out presents to all participants. The charity also visited local Youth clubs to give out presents to attendees after they were nominated for a visit as part of the #F92DecemberToRemember campaign.

Head of Foundation 92, Tom Hutton, said “Foundation 92 is proud to work with Clarion Futures and multiple partners across the city to provide youth work, mentoring, employability, and family support programmes.

“A campaign such as this really helps Foundation 92 congratulate and support the community on its commitment and dedication to achieve its potential.”

Matt Parsonage, Head of Communities for Clarion Futures, said: “Working with partners like Foundation 92 enables us to make the biggest possible difference for our communities and it was great to be part of their December to Remember campaign. Having Nicky Butt delivering presents was the icing on the cake, helping to spread Christmas cheer amongst some of our residents in Gorton – something I’m sure they’ll never forget.”

Foundation 92 Co-founder, Nicky Butt, said “The support of our partners is amazing. We have a lot of great partners and that is so important to the Foundation as it massively helps to get into these areas and to support the community. The work the staff do at Foundation 92 is amazing, but the partners that we have, have been so vital and it’s something that we’re really proud of.”
