Yesterday marked National Fitness Day and Foundation 92 hosted a bespoke sports day event with Bupa UK Foundation.

Foundation 92 staff visited the Bupa UK offices at Media City to put on a range of fitness classes for Bupa UK staff, that included Boxercise, HIIT, resistance band sessions and yoga.

The F92 Mobile Youth Zone also dropped by for a visit, giving Bupa staff the opportunity to check out how its unique offer benefits young people across Greater Manchester whilst helping to tackle anti-social behaviour.

The day was a great success with many staff accessing Foundation 92’s services, whilst also learning more about the charity’s programmes, and signing up to volunteer for the Foundation for the coming year.

Head of Foundation 92, Tom Hutton, said: “It was brilliant to see so many Bupa UK staff access Foundation 92’s Corporate Wellness offer through this bespoke sports day. Our workplace wellbeing programme is designed for employers to provide their staff with the tools and techniques to look after their physical and mental wellbeing in and out of the workplace. It’s great to see employers like Bupa UK Foundation accessing this offer to provide their employees with this support.

Bupa UK Foundation also support Foundation 92’s Family Wellbeing programme, which focuses on health, physical activity, wellbeing, and nutrition whilst building on family relationships along the way. So far, the programme has helped over 100 families to develop a healthier lifestyle and create stronger family bonds.

Foundation 92 will be hosting a Yoga, Brunch and Networking morning at Hotel Football on the 28th of September, providing businesses with the chance to experience Foundation 92’s Corporate Wellness offer for free.
