Yesterday morning 8 Salford schools participated in a year 3 & year 4 boys football tournament, ran by Foundation 92. The event was held at Salford Sports Village in what was the perfect setting for a fun-filled morning of sport.

Whether each team was aiming to lift the trophy or simply enjoy the experience, the tournament showed a morning of energy, connection, and community impact in the heart of Salford

Foundation 92 is proud to continue delivering these tournaments in partnership with schools ensuring pupils across Salford have access to positive experiences, new friendships and valuable life skills.

St Joseph RC Primary School came out of the tournament victors in a closely contested competition, beating Lewis Street Primary School in the final which saw each team giving it there all to win.

Opportunities like this event are a vital part of foundation 92’s dedication to using sporting events to inspire and thrive throughout Salford.
