130 people joined F92 and The Fed at Hotel Football yesterday for the second annual Manchester Matter Business Lunch to raise over £27,000 for the life transforming – and often lifesaving – work both charities undertake across Greater Manchester.
The event that was sponsored by Kuits solicitors, featured a panel discussion and a Q & A on leadership and philanthropy in business and sport with Salford City Director of Football and Foundation 92 Co-Founder Ryan Giggs, Marc Goldberg, Commercial CEO of Together Money, Yvonne Harrison, Chair of Foundation 92 and CEO of Women in Football and Damien Chabas, the Managing Director of Metrolink alongside two films and an appeal showcasing the work of Foundation 92 and The Fed.
Raphi Bloom, Director of Fundraising and Marketing at The Fed said “The Manchester Matters lunch is a fantastic example of two crucial social care charities working together to ensure all communities in our city region can access the help and support they need. Together we are stronger, and nothing exemplifies this more than The Fed’s relationship with Foundation 92.”
Damon Traverse, Head of Media & Partnerships at Foundation 92, said: “We’re delighted to work alongside The Fed to ensure that everyone across the communities we work within has the support they need. The Manchester Matters Business Lunch was a fantastic success and we’d like to thank Kuits for sponsoring the event and thank all guests that turned up to show their support on the day.”
Rob Buckley, Partner at Kuits solicitors and Trustee of Foundation 92, said: “The work that Foundation 92 and The Fed do is absolutely crucial for the communities in which they operate. At Kuits, we are proud to support these important charities as they collaborate to create a lasting, positive impact on the lives of people in Greater Manchester.”
