Starting this Saturday, Foundation 92 is pleased to announce the opening of a Matchday Hub alongside Salford City FC as their official charity partner!
Open to all supporters, the Hub will be a fun, vibrant, family-friendly zone for supporters to meet and spend time before Saturday home games.
Based down the road at Salford Sports Village, activities will include inflatable bowling, a shot speedometer, Zorb football, five-a-side mini games and more, plus special appearances from one of the Club mascots Billy or Babs!
The Hub opens at 12pm and will close at 2pm, leaving enough time for supporters and families to make their way up to The Peninsula Stadium and get ready for kick-off, so feel free to pop down between those times for however long you would like! The Hub is an event open for everybody, there is no need to pre-book and tickets are not required.
There will be refreshments available to buy on site, and staff from Foundation 92 will be around to help and speak to. We do kindly ask that parents, carers or guardians do remain on site with their children, and there is no need to bring boots – trainers or Astros will suffice. Please ensure you have suitable clothing for the weather as shelter is limited.
Parking is available at Salford Sports Village for the Hub, but vehicles cannot be left while you attend the game as Salford Sports Village will be closed afterwards and the car park locked.
If you are heading to the match against Hartlepool United afterwards, information for supporters is available here, and ticket information can be found here. Tickets must be purchased from the ticket office or online here before 1:15pm on matchday for the North and South stands, which are the seated areas of the ground. The only stand that has on the day ticket sales is the West Stand which is an all-standing terrace.
