Foundation 92 launch community garden with Bupa UK Foundation and Clarion Futures.

On the 30th of October 2024, Foundation 92 launched a brand-new garden in the heart of Salford to provide a free-to-access, engaging green space for the local community.

The garden, based at The Sutton Community Centre in Salford has been designed to support the local community by enhancing wellbeing and social inclusion.

The new area includes greenery, areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings, planters and community led sustainable food growing areas.

Foundation 92 will also look to employ a Horticulture and Environmental Officer to maintain the garden and deliver educational workshops. The workshops will be delivered in conjunction with the charities Health and Wellbeing department and topics of focus will include; sustainable food growth, therapeutic relaxation activities, environmental eco-systems, family wellbeing and social inclusion.
