The Foundation is running several Easter Holiday Camps, across Salford and Great Manchester!
The activities, funded by The Department of Education’s Holiday Activity Fund, range from arts, crafts, sports and music and will run at various locations across Salford and Greater Manchester from Monday 4th April to Friday 21st April.
Part of the National Campaign, this initiative is aimed to help keep young people in safe, fun and interactive environments during the Easter holidays. Young people will also receive a free healthy meal each day, supporting their growth and development.
Throughout Easter 2022, Foundation 92 with thanks and support of Salford City Council, Trafford Council, Bury Council and Manchester City Council aim to provide over 420 free places per day, striving to deliver over 1,900 meals.
Head of Foundation 92 Tom Hutton said, “The upcoming Easter Holidays provide young people with an opportunity to meet new friends and have a great time in a safe and structured manner.
“Families do not always have access to disposable income and the school holidays are often a very expensive time of the year as parents try to occupy their youngsters. All our activities in this initiative are completely free. I’d like to thank all partners for making this possible and coming together to put on this fantastic offer for young people across Salford and Greater Manchester.
“Young people across Salford, Bury, Trafford and Manchester can look forward to time off school knowing they can have something fun to look forward to and the opportunity to take part in new experiences and make new friends.”
