People Referral Unit (PRU)

At Foundation 92 we work with PRU’s to help provide employability and life skills.

Overview

Age: 16+

Duration: 10 Weeks

Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) – these are alternative provision schools that follow an altered education curriculum to meet the needs of young people who cannot cope with mainstream education for various reasons.

With this the pupils follow a 10-week course giving them the skills they need to be successful in gaining employment.

This may be through acknowledging further education, apprenticeships or work experience, building CV’s and mock interviews.

Alongside this we complete activities to improve student’s confidence, communications skills, teamwork, emotional management and productivity.

This programme provides an opportunity for your child to be active and interactive with others whilst enabling them to improve their fundamental skills. We are devoted to the physical, emotional and social development of children.
