Foundation 92 U12s ETC Gain Valuable Experience at Chester FC Tournament

Foundation 92’s Under-12s Emerging Talent Centre (ETC) team showcased teamwork, determination, and skill yesterday afternoon as they competed in an ETC tournament hosted by Chester FC Community Trust.

The event brought together ETC teams representing several clubs from across the region, offering a fantastic opportunity for young players to test themselves against strong opposition. The Foundation 92 girls went head-to-head in a series of competitive fixtures, pushing themselves throughout and demonstrating real progress both individually and collectively.

“The girls gave everything today,” said Foundation 92 Officer, Cameron Smith. “They played with heart, supported one another, and gained valuable experience that will help them continue developing as a team.”

The tournament not only provided valuable match experience but also strengthened the team’s cohesion and understanding on the pitch. Making the journey to Chester offered the players a new challenge, one they met with enthusiasm, energy, and a great attitude.

Foundation 92 extended its thanks to Chester Community Trust for hosting what was a successful and enjoyable tournament, giving young players from across the North West a platform to learn and grow in a positive environment.

The U12s will now take their experiences from Chester into future ETC fixtures, continuing to develop the core principles of teamwork, resilience, and technical skill that underpin the Foundation 92 pathway.
