Salford City FC Community Day – A way to Celebrate the City of Salford’s Centenary in Style

Salford City FC is inviting the local community to come together for a special Community Day, marking the exciting City of Salford Centenary celebrations.

Taking place from 11am on Saturday 11th April at Peel Park, Little Hulton, this free, family-friendly event promises a day full of engaging activities, community spirit, and opportunities to connect.

The Community Day will feature a range of football and health & wellbeing-based activities, designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for all ages and abilities. Whether you’re looking to get active, try something new, or simply enjoy time with family and friends, there will be something for everyone.

The event also provides a great opportunity to discover more about the work being delivered by the Foundation and its partners. Attendees can learn how local initiatives are supporting health, wellbeing, and community development across Salford.

As part of the celebration, visitors will be able to:

  • Receive free Salford City FC tickets for the game vs Gillingham later that afternoon
  • Access free return transport to the match from Peel Park Little Hulton

(Tickets and travel are available to those who attend the event.)

There’s no need to register in advance, just turn up and get involved.
