Over 190 guests sat down for lunch at Hotel Football last week to support the work of Foundation 92 and The Fed across Greater Manchester and generate essential funds to support both organisations.
Since the start of the pandemic Foundation 92 and The Fed have been working closely together, across communities and faiths to ensure those most in need and vulnerable receive the support they need & deserve.
Both charities support thousands of people of all ages every year who suffer with mental health issues, poverty, isolation and loneliness.
Guests listened to a fascinating panel discussion with; Nicky Butt – CEO of Salford City FC, Cllr Bev Craig – Leader of Manchester City Council, Mark Adlestone OBE DL – the Chairman of Beaverbrooks the Jewellers, Charlie Norman – CEO of MSV Housing and Lisa Morton – Founder & Owner of Roland Dransfield PR, chaired by BBC Radio 5 Live presenter Nihal Arthanayke. They discussed business in Manchester, challenges facing communities, the future of Manchester, why philanthropy is so important for businesses to engage with and how businesses can give back to create a stronger future.
The lunch included a diverse Q & A session, a raffle and an auction, with all funds generated going towards Foundation 92 and The Fed to support their programmes across Greater Manchester.
On behalf of Foundation 92 & The Fed we extend a huge thank you everyone for their incredible support.
