The two charities are joining forces to run a football tournament for businesses from across Greater Manchester at Salford City FC’s Peninsula Stadium on the 2nd of May.
The money raised will go towards NorthCare and Foundation 92’s Health Improvement programmes.
Members of The Class of ’92 will be in attendance to referee some of the games, as well as presenting the winners with that all important trophy.
NorthCare support Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust to deliver outstanding care across Bury, Oldham, Rochdale and Salford by funding innovative equipment, education, research and wellbeing activities.
Fundraising Officer at NorthCare Charity, Karen Casper, said: “Myself and Tom have been planning a joint fundraiser for quite a while and I am so excited that we are finally organising a fabulous event. The event gives an opportunity for businesses to network and a team building session whilst raising vital funds for their local NHS Charity.
Head of Foundation 92, Tom Hutton, said: “We’re delighted to be hosting this great event alongside NorthCare Charity to further develop both organisations Health Improvement programmes for the communities across Salford and Greater Manchester. We looking forward to welcoming the teams to Salford City FC’s fantastic Peninsula Stadium in May.”
The event is set to be a fantastic day with friends and family all welcome.
