Andrea’s Story: Transforming her Health and Wellbeing with Fit 92

Foundation 92’s Fit 92 sessions have been making a huge impact across Trafford, helping people improve their physical and mental wellbeing through structured, supportive, and community-driven programmes.

The sessions provide a welcoming environment for individuals of all ages and abilities, focusing not only on fitness but also on building confidence, resilience, and healthier lifestyles. With guidance from dedicated coaches, participants are encouraged to set personal goals and are supported every step of the way to achieve them.

Fit92 goes beyond the gym. It’s about creating a network of people who motivate one another, celebrate achievements, and share the journey towards better health. Many participants report improved fitness levels, weight management, and mental wellbeing, but more importantly, they gain friendships and the confidence to sustain long-term changes.

Andrea’s Story

My name is Andrea Scott and wanted to share with you what Foundation 92 has done for me.

“I have struggled with my weight most of my life. Traditional diets worked but unfortunately temporarily and the weight came back with a vengeance. I then allowed life in general and work to get in the way of my health and wellbeing. I am now at the stage in life where I want to concentrate on me, both body and mind.

With the help and guidance received via Foundation 92, I have managed to drop over a stone in weight. My high blood pressure is now normal level for the first time in four years. I sleep better and have lots more energy. I have met a fantastic bunch of people who have the same goals. With the help and support I have received from Foundation 92 I am continuing to progress towards my 5 stone weight loss goal.

In Trafford there are no other groups like this. In fact, for the first time in over 20 years I am managing to lose weight, keep it off and continue to lose.

I hope this group continues to be a crutch for more people like me going forward.”
